Behind Enemy Lines's Veterans Day Tribute 2015

Behind Enemy Lines Radio show

Summary: The night before Veterans Day, Behind Enemy Lines Radio dedicates a full show to our veterans. Gene Berardelli and Russell Gallo welcome star of stage and screen Tony Lo Bianco (known for his roles in The French Connection, TV's Police Story, Law & Order and so many more), who sat down with us to discuss politics, our veterans and has gracious allowed us to play his moving tribute: an emotional and poignant reading of "Just a Common Soldier" by A. Lawrence Vaincourt. Then, BEL is happy to welcome veteran / musician John Preston. John is a highly decorated Marine and Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served his country, and in return suffers from PTSD. He's watched many of his fellow Veterans suffer and die from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Preston's goal is to bring awareness and peace to vets suffering from PTSD through his message and music. John's on a mission to raise awareness about the needs of today's veterans. And he puts his money where his heart is...30% of his EP sales goes to veterans and veteran causes. We'll be playing his song, "Day To Night".
