Summary: Donna Corrente has almost 20 years of professional experience in the addiction profession; she has directed and developed substance abuse programs encompassing all levels of care for residential and outpatient programs and for EAP management. Donna is a national speaker, educator and writer regarding addiction and is the recipient of the 2004 Michael Q. Ford National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) Journalism award for a series of articles published in the Counselor Magazine, Aug’04, Oct’04 & Dec’04 regarding the influence of hormonal shifting on women and their process of recovery. She is a Master’s level Certified Addictions Professional with the State of Florida and a Certified Addictions Specialist with the American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders.
