Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Substance Abuse in returning Iraqi and Afghanistan Veterans – Special Encore Presentation!

Summary: Dr. Potenza is currently a staff psychiatrist at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School. He has lectured nationally on topics of major mental illness, personality functioning, and most recently Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He most recently had been appointed by Governor Lynch to be a participant on the statewide legislative committee for studying Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in returning Iraq war veterans. In April 2008, he was an American Medical Association Honoree at the annual Linda Saltzman Conference for work with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in Veterans.
