Summary: It's almost time to celebrate with friends and family for the festive season, but before that, we had a little celebration of our own. On 30 November each year we celebrate Anniversary Day. This year was particularly special, not only as it was our 355th, but that it was time for us to welcome a new president. Sir Paul Nurse came to the end of his five year term and made way for Sir Venki Ramakrishnan, who took office on 1 December 2015.
