Ear buds or full headphones. If you just need the personal listening as not to disturb others or want added clarity for your TV listening enjoyment, this might be your best choices. Personal listening for you whether your hearing impaired or not. Things to look for: - Compatibility with various types of TV, PC or Game controllers. - Wireless range 30 or more feet. - Stereo not mono sound. - Adjustable volume, tone and balance controls. - Clarity controls for speech intelligibility. - Automatic volume control. - Easy to use controls. large enough to adjust. - Battery life. 12 or more hours. - Transmitter charger base for 1 or 2 receivers. - Zero ear-pressure wearing comfort. earbuds or headphones. some come as over the shoulder. - Lithium batteries. for longer life over Ni-MH batteries. not just charge lifetime. - Included minimum: AC adapter, rechargeable batteries, base unit, headset and manual. I have given you a range of these type of devices and links on my blogs. My personal preference would be for the Sennheiser brand for the earbud version as this is a top quality brand. You can purchase much lower cost versions of these type of products like As-seen-on-TV but you get what you pay for, poor sound quality on most of these without the controls you need. Did not find much for headphone type but I know they are out there.
