It seems like most of the conversations between people today are about their work status, where they live, what they drive and how much money they have. This plague has not only been embraced by the world, but also by the body of Christ. Pride has overcome the world and the Church. The word of God warns us about being prideful people. Proverbs 16:18 Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall We are called to be humble. A humble person is someone who doesn’t consider himself superior to others and treats people with respect, whether they are rich or poor. They don’t look for the front row seats in churches as if they are greater than others, but seek to up lift others instead of themselves.
