As mentioned, Gun Log SPC does not use iCloud and your data is only on your device. The app does not (nor ever will) take any of your data and send it somewhere else. The Gun Log apps are first and foremost range logs. You have to have your inventory of firearms and ammunition to make a good range log, so the app is also an excellent inventory app. The app tracks failures, firing sets, maintenance, and all more. I also wrote a G1 ballistics calculator to help you get on paper. I wrote all the code, there are no third party libraries, in the app at all. With that said, that is the reason there is no bar code scanner, I did not want to use a third party software tool to read bar codes without knowing that the bar code scanner library isn't harvesting data. You can read about the app here:  http://gunlogspc.blogspot.com/ I would love to give the give Mr. Hardy some free downloads of Gun Log SPC that could be shared with your audience. If he will contact me, the contact info is in the app, I will hook him up so he can hook you up. There is only me, one programmer, no one else. I do this on the side. Want a code?  Like the AR-15 Podcast Facebook Page! I want one too Arturo:  Have 10 FRN listeners contacted you "guys" about Shot Show yet? Pete: Hey guys, finally getting caught up on podcasts (ARP 097) and thought I would send a picture of this monstrosity I saw at the 2014 Chicago gun show... It's like playing Where's Waldo trying to find the muzzle from the front. Still lovin the podcast and it's really great how the show has progressed in quality and content. I'd love to hear what Patriot Ordnance Firearms (POF) has going on if you guys see them at Shot Show, don't recall you guys ever mentioning them, really a very solid gun. I've owned one for a while, mine is the 18" version, fluted barrel, button rifled, piston gun with a really nice POF trigger. Very accurate, low muzzle rise and allows faster follow up shots than any other AR I have shot. Only downside of the rifle is weight, pretty noticeable, especially after a full day of shooting and lugging around from stage to stage. Your show inspired me to build an AR on my own and am really glad I did. Decided to do a lightweight version unlike the POF. I went with a Rock River 2 stage based on a friends advice...not my cup tea, feels more like excess creep more than anything else and don't really like the longer reset. I don't get the fascination with those. Anyway I will end up replacing with the POF single stage, again, a big fan, very crisp. Keep up the great podcast! Mike R, Skagit Shooting Range: Reed, Anthony, JR - What a great show as always, you all bring a great element to the podcast. First of all - Why the heck don't Rick and his "team" of survivors use the suppressors all the time? It really frustrates me on so many levels - First those walkers are attracted to sound. Second  your hearing? I'm thinking it's really important to have great hearing in the zombie Apocalypse.
