NBAA Flight Plan Podcasts show

Summary: This NBAA Flight Plan podcast provides the final installment in a four-part series about challenges to access at general aviation airports in California, and the potential of those challenges to set precedent at airports elsewhere. Santa Monica Airport (SMO) officials have tried to ban Class C and D aircraft, but NBAA and local business aviation experts, like attorney Patrick Bailey, continue their efforts to preserve business aviation access at SMO. Bailey says businesses fly into SMO to do business in Santa Monica, not nearby Los Angeles. Jol Silversmith, an associate with the law firm Zuckert, Scoutt & Rasenberger, LLP, highlights the history of SMO's attempted bans.
