Summary: CONVERSATIONS WITH REMARKABLE MINDSPerceiving our world clearly to initiate systematic changeProf. Glen Martin is a professor of philosophy and religious studies at Radford University in Virginia, and the founder of its program in Peace Studies for over three decades his research and writing has focused upon the interconnections between the spiritual and social political dimensions of achieving peace and human liberation.  Since 1996 Prof Martin has been the president of International Philosophers for Peace, an organization with members in 25 countries promoting peace through social, political and economic means and which was influential in the World Court decision condemning the threat of nuclear weapons. He is a board member on many peace organizations, in Costa Rica, Greece, India and elsewhere and was recently made president of the World Constitution and Parliament Association that is making efforts to create a non-military democratic world under the Constitution for the Federation of Earth manifesto.   Glen has received many international peace awards and was nominated for the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi International Peace Award in 2002.  He has written numerous articles and books including Triumph of Civilization: Democracy, Nonviolence and the Piloting of Spaceship Earth” and “The Earth Federation Movement.”  His latest book is “The Anatomy of a Sustainable World: Our Choice Between Climate Change and System Change.”  His website is Radford.edu/~GMartin
