Summary:
On this week’s Unplugged, “Mr. Money On The Mic” Jeff Jackson and “BronxZilla” Tony Mirabella kicked off the show with some “This Day In Wrestling History,” as Sean Beckerman took us back in time to an infamous promo that Samoa Joe cut on Scott Hall in TNA for no-showing. The “Raw Reaction” was next, as Bronx recapped what happened on this past week’s Monday Night Raw. In the end, Bronxy was a bit more generous than JJ, as JJ gave the show a flat D, with BronxZilla giving the show a B. Both hosts did agree however that the last few weeks of Raw have been a chore to watch. After the break, JJ and Bronx recapped the last Lucha Underground show, including an absolutely sick no holds barred main event! The boys both agreed that Lucha Underground is a MUST WATCH show. Next up was AnthonyFarley going over NXT, with JJ once again stating that NXT and Lucha Underground are his two favorite hours of must-see wrestling every week. It was on to the news, sponsored by www.wrestling-online.com. The two top stories were, of course, the CM Punk interview on Colt Cabana’s “Art Of Wrestling,” and Vince McMahon on the Steve Austin Show. Both hosts had their opinions on Punk’s interview, with Bronx and JJ disagreeing about the timing of Punk getting fired on his wedding day. Both did agree that the situation was handled extremely poorly on both sides. JJ and Bronx then both had some choice things to say about McMahon’s interview, including his comments towards Cesaro, Punk and the entire locker room. JJ was not all that impressed with Austin’s questions. We ended the show with a song dedicated to Beth from the Walking Dead.
