Summary: The early church proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God —that Jesus was resurrected as King. This didn’t sit well with the political and religious leaders of that time and continuously caused problems. The real problem, though, was that the church was right and the religious leaders needed to listen and to bow their knees.
