Summary: This week, the Islamic State attacked Baghdad with a series of car bombs that killed 31 people, reportedly seized control of 21 Kurdish villages in northern Syria, tried to launch a terrorist attack inside of Australia, and released a video of captured British Journalist John Cantlie, who was being forced to report ISIS propaganda. As the threat from the Islamic State continues to grow, Obama continues to declare that no U.S. combat troops will be used to fight ISIL in Iraq.
