Summary: We’ve looked for people, places and things to give us the love, joy and peace that only God can. We've been hurt and disappointed and we have hurt and disappointed others looking for love, joy and peace in all the wrong places. We've even misunderstood our relationship with God thinking His primary purpose in our lives was to help us get the things we want so we can finally experience some love, joy and peace. But the reality is God is not here to help us get something or someone He is that something and someone we've all so desperately longed for.
