SNS RADIO NETWORK show

Summary: A new episode of SNS Sticks & Flicks with Ashley Richardson is here for you on the SNS Radio Network. Ashley is joined by Bronxzilla to talk some of the major gaming news of the past few weeks including a new 3DS model that hides dark times ahead, the Super Smash roster gets leaked and updated, FREE games through this months PS+ and Xbox Games With Gold promotions, the whole #GamerGate issues that have happened over recent months & years and Pokemon will be, as long wanted by some, making it’s way into the arcade fighting genre.
The second segment sees Bronxzilla stay (or did he just arrive as well?) to give his thoughts of the mobile and tablet game, WWE Supercard, which was released by 2K about a month ago. Despite this having come out to little of no fanfare, Bronx & Ash talk about the structure and game play of the deck building game, point out some of the flaws and drawbacks that could have made the game even better and how this game seems to be bucking the trend of not only being free to download and play, but how monetization seems to be available but not encouraged and the lack of advertising, pushing you to other products & services, something most other major games seem to love doing.
The final part has Ashley running through the movie and entertainment news, with a mention of Joan Rivers’s death, Sherlock & Breaking Bad being some of the big winners at this year’s Emmy awards, the Tick TV series could be resurrected thanks to Amazon, The Greatest American Hero looks to be getting a modern reboot for TV, Dwayne Johnson is officially Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam film, a Frozen short film looks set to be revealed in the spring of 2015 and much more. Finally, there’s a few reviews of theatre shows, with the RSC’s ‘The Two Gentlemen Of Verona’ and the harrowing ‘Medea’ from the National Theatre, and also a movie with little nods to great horror and thriller films of the past, with Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens taking the titular role as ‘The Guest’. Give your thoughts on anything movie, TV or video game related by emailing sticks@snsradionetwork.com or by reaching Ash on Twitter (@AshIsMyNameUK or @SNS_Sticks)
