Hosted by KUOW's Marcie Sillman, the evening will also feature community members reading their chosen poems. Initiated in 1999, Seattle's Favorite Poems was inspired by the Favorite Poem Project, Robert Pinsky's initiative as 39th Poet Laureate of the United States. It celebrates poetry's role in the lives of the people of Seattle.
