Facing the Darkness Together / Kay Warren

Summary: In session #3 of the Torrey Conference 2009, Kay Warren, from Saddleback Church, gives a message on "Facing the Darkness Together". She explains how believers often feel inadequate in the face of the suffering of others and speaks on how the Church should respond to the brokenness in the world. Kay Warren preaches from Job 2:13 and Isaiah 63:9 and gives two principles on how Christians should respond to suffering with a heart that beats like the heart of God: by offering their presence and by choosing to suffer with. She explains that to really show their love for Jesus, Christians will show Him to the world by loving the least, the last and the lost and by making the invisible visible.
