Team Covenant show

Summary: It's been an exciting week here at the Covenant Store. In addition to our weekly tournaments this week was our monthly Android: Netrunner LCG tournament.   Star Wars LCG This week our Star Wars LCG tournament winner was Ben Ruggles. Ben was running an Imperial Trooper deck for his Dark Side. He was also using a mono-Jedi deck for his Light Side. Ben was running Luke, Yoda, Kyle, and Obi-Wan. His Dark Side deck was running the 501st, Dark Trooper, Motti, Veers, and Stark. "My dark side deck was a very aggressive deck." Ben learned that Yoda wins games, and that Calm is a fantastic card. He also learned that Jedi are actually good. Ben wanted to give shout outs to all of the guys who show up every week, especially Zach for "destroying me". He wanted to also give a shout out to Joe for deck building advice. "Dem Jedees be ehmazun" Netrunner This week our weekly Netrunner winner was Sam Southard. Sam was running Andromeda for his Runner, and he was running GRNDL for his Corporation. His Andromeda deck was utilizing Starlight Crusade Funding, Power Nap, Lucky Find, and a number of other double events. These events made his economy very efficient. His GRNDL deck was running all of the Bad Publicity that he could squeeze in. Sam said that the keys to his victory were Crypsis and Hadrians Wall. "Crypsis was so clutch." Sam learned that you can overadvance Project Atlas to win. Sam gave shout outs to Ben, Tim, and Chris. "Trust in the Crypsis" Game of Thrones Steven Wooley was our weekly Game of Thrones LCG winner. Steven was running a Greyjoy no agenda deck. It utilizes Winter, Wintertime Marauders, Alannys, Theon,and all of the other good Greyjoy cards. The key things that led to his victory were Wintertime Marauders, Alannys/Inn of the Kneeling Man, and having multiple threat vectors. Steven learned that Eddard can cancel his Noble saves. Steven wanted to give shout outs to Tim Rowe for returning, Josh Forbes for revenge, Steve Simoni for Bara BS, Sean Clemons for always close and interesting games, and to Chris Kizer for in-game commentary. Android: Netrunner LCG Monthly Tournament This past week was our monthly Netrunner tournament. Our winner was none other than Chris O'Neal. Chris was playing a Reina Roja deck for his Runner, and he was running Jinteki: Replicating Perfection for his Corporation. His Reina deck was running a chess suite along with an aggressive running plan. Chris ran hard. His Replicating Perfection deck was utilizing the identities ability by including a lot of drip economy assets (PAD Campaign, Sunder, ETC). It also used Caprice and a suite of taxing ICE. Chris learned that Replicating Perfection is actually really good. He wanted to give shout outs to Cameron, Leland, and his brother.
