Join Trina and two women who did just that.  These trailblazers will share their stories – about how they built new initiatives by filling important roles - encouraging women writers and launching a health movement among African American women.  Kimberly Garrett Brown is the Founder and Editor in Chief of Minerva Rising Literary Journal, a publication dedicated to celebrating the creativity in every woman.  She started the journal out of a passion for the arts and a lifelong mission of championing woman. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Master of Science in Written Communication.  She is currently working on a novel about the Harlem Renaissance. T. Morgan Dixon is co-founder and CEO of Girl Trek, an organization that encourages healthy lifestyles among African-American women, starting with walking on a regular basis. Her background includes serving as director of leadership development for Achievement First. She began her career with Teach For America and later as was awarded their 2012 Social Innovation Award. Morgan earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Southern California, a Master of Education Policy and Leadership at Seton Hall  Trina Ramsey is a career and life coach, specializing in personal transformation and career transition. With 20 years of experience in business and management, Trina's is a "people person" and a change agent. Trina started her business, Perspectives Plus Coaching in 2009 after spending 15 years as a nonprofit fundraiser and experience running her own interior decorating business.
