Art of The Red River

Red River Radio show

Summary: Artists and show hosts, Mike Dubisch, Wade Zahares, and Carolyn Watson Dubisch interview art professionals from different areas of the art world, from all over the globe.  Our first guest will be visionary artist, Jody Fallon. Known for his haunting figurative work and dark  landscapes, Jody Fallon is a self taught contemporary  artist, proficient in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and pencil. A native of central Pennsylvania, Jody grew up exploring the dark fields, hills and mountains near his childhood home, ever yearning for a way to express the feelings of wonder, fascination and solitude that he had discovered. Next we'll have humor artist and children's book illustrator, AJ Smith joining us. AJ Smith specializes in silly stories and funny drawings for kids (and immature adults). He lives in Newburyport, MA with his family.  When not making books like "Even Monsters", AJ teaches art and creates cartoons for shows like "Courage the Cowardly Dog" and "Sesame Street".  He also really enjoys hiking and hockey. He loves visiting schools and has presentations for all ages.
