Summary: Edwin I. Levin, LICSW, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Temple University in Philadelphia and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Columbia University School of Social Work in New York City. He is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of VT. Mr. Levin began his professional career at the National Institute of Mental Health Research Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He has worked for more than 35 years as a clinician and administrator in residential, psychiatric, and educational settings for children and adults with emotional and psychiatric issues. Ed is currently chairperson of the Executive Board of the American Residential Treatment Association (ARTA).Twenty-five years ago he joined the staff of Spruce Mountain Inn as Assistant Director and continues in that role at one of the leading residential programs serving young adults with psychiatric problems.
