Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio: Spring Atlanta Home Show and Built to Honor

Atlanta Real Estate Forum show

Summary: This week, we are excited to have Julie Herron Carson, the head of one of this weekend's most exciting events for homeowners, the Spring Atlanta Home Show, on the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show. Also joining us this week is Stephen Haines from Pulte Homes’ Built to Honor program, one of the Atlanta real estate industry's most intriguing new charity efforts. Julie shares with us some of the best reasons to head to the Cobb Galleria Centre starting today for the Spring Atlanta Home Show, and Stephen tells us all about how Built to Honor is another way that the Atlanta home building community is uniting to do good works. The Spring Atlanta Home Show has more than 350 companies presenting on its show floor to offer you the latest home remodeling products and services, whether you are looking to make large or small changes to your home. The show opened this morning at 10 a.m. and is open until 6 p.m. this evening; tomorrow the show opens at the same time and runs until 7 p.m., and then is open from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, so there are plenty of chances to enjoy Atlanta's largest home show this weekend. Admission is just $10 and parking is free. In addition to the huge lineup of participating companies on the show floor, there is a stage where you can hear inspirational, informative and educational presentations from local industry experts and veterans, including special featured guest Ahmed Hassan of HGTV's "Yard Crashers." Ahmed will speak twice on Saturday; and just about every hour you can learn something new, from financing your renovation to upgrading specific parts of your home and more. There are two special exhibits Atlanta homeowners won’t want to miss! The See-Through House is expanded this year, and is ready to teach you all about the makeup and systems of a home by allowing you to see through walls and floors. With this understanding of how everything fits together, you can see how products and upgrades all work together to help you live better. In addition, there is a Backyard Beer Garden full of outdoor living upgrades designed to make the most of the environment around your home during a Georgia summer. In addition, Red Hare Brewing Company is going to be providing beer tastings (for those over age 21) in the afternoons. For more information, visit www.AtlantaHomeShow.com, listen to the full show or head to the Cobb Galleria Centre this weekend - and if you are a professional, from a real estate agent to remodeling supplier and more, you can get in free today as a part of Trade Day! Just show your business card at the ticket booth and you'll be granted show access for free. ____________________________________________________________ Today's Deal of the Day is from The Orchards Group, and they are currently offering: a $15,000 buyer's bonus on single-family homes and a $10,000 buyer’s bonus on ranch condominium homes at The Orchards of East Cherokee a $15,000 buyer’s bonus on master-on-the-main townhome villas and a $10,000 bonus on ranch condominiums at The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm These bonuses are only going to last as long as the few final homes in each of these active-adult communities, where homes range from the low $200,000s to the mid $300,000s.
