Red River Radio show

Summary: Host Barbara Ehrentreu and Co-Host Freda Roberts welcome as our guests Samuel King and six amazing picture book writers who are participating in an event for Women's History Month which includes three bookstores and a gallery/restaurant. Led by Melanie Hope Greenberg this "creative collective" of picture book writers consists of five more women. They are Miriam Cohen, Selina Alko, Pat Cummings, Aileen Leitjan and Meghan McCarthy. Samuel King has written a novel, several novellas, a screenplay and short stories including "The First Angry 'Man'". He will discuss his writing in science fiction and read an excerpt from his own work. For Women's History Month the six women picture book writers will participate during the entire month of March. Both panel discussions and readings are planned in their local area, Brooklyn, New York. The women will talk about themselves and read an excerpt from their own picture book. Afterwards they will join Samuel King and Barbara for what should be a very interesting and lively discussion. Please join us on Thursday, February 25th at 3PM Central Time for what looks to be another great show!!!
