Summary: Popular artists and show hosts Carolyn Watson-Dubisch, Wade Zahares, and Mike Dubisch interview illustrators, animators, and art agents to discover insight into the art world. The first guest will be Diane Washburn from A.W. Corporate Art Works. Diane is a graduate in Art From the University of Maryland, and represents artists from across the United States. AW Corporate Art Works provides artwork for placement in local, regional and worldwide corporate locations. Our second guest will be Elizabeth Watasin who has worked at Disney on animated children's favourites. She also makes illustrations, Zines, and handmade accessories to promote her stories. Her graphic novel Charm School was published by SLG Publishing. She lives with a black cat named Draw in a tree house in Los Angeles. Her YA fantasy adventure novel, Wit's World: Never Was, debuts in 2011. Our Third guest will be the muti-talented artist Shane Evans from Kansas City. Evans has conceptualized and illustrated numerous children’s books. Many of the books have been featured in the media such as The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, NBA Inside Stuff, Reading Rainbow and Late Night with David Letterman. Recent winner of the Image award from the NAACP for his children's book, "My Brother Charlie" by Holly Robinson Pete and Ryan Elizabeth Pete. Shane also developed the popular “Shanna Show” for Playhouse Disney, which spun of into “Shane’s Kindergarten Countdown.”
