The Rock of KC show

Summary: - be still and know that He is God (Ps. 46:10) - Hebrew is "raphah" to sink, relax, let drop, abandon, abate, refrain, to be quiet - be silent, God is in His holy temple (Hab. 2:20) - silence: hacah to hush, be silent, hold peace, hold tongue, be still - being still implies meditation - listen for the still small voice (1 Kings 19:12) - remove the noise (Matt. 9:18-26) - let God arise and speak (Mark 4:35-41) - the same Jesus that was in the boat with the disciples is the same Jesus that is in your heart now - Jesus wants to speak to the storms in your life that's going on inside of you, He wants to calm the storm in you and He wants to calm the storm around you. But you have to know which one needs calmed first. Sometimes God's going to calm the storm in you before He calms the storm around you.
