Dave’s Lounge #50 Revisited

Dave's Lounge show

Summary: [audio:http://media.libsyn.com/media/daveslounge/DavesLounge-20060629.mp3] So I got back last night from the New Media Expo in Las Vegas, where I had an absolute blast. It was tons of fun meeting and hanging out with so many great podcasters, including Anji Bee from The Chillcast, Brian Ibbott from Coverville, Roxanne and Shane from Beachwalks, Ariel Hyatt from Ariel PR, Dan Klass from The Bitterest Pill, Rob Walch from Podcast411 and Today in iPhone, CC Chapman from Accident Hash, Charles Stepczyk from Insomnia Radio, Elsie from Elsie's Yoga Kula... the list could go on forever, really. Plus, the Coverville 500 party was spectacular, and we all had a ton of fun out on the strip. I'll have photos from the New Media Expo up here very soon. Unfortunately, I stayed out late and didn't get much sleep while I was there, and I am heinously jet-lagged. So I've decided to release an encore performance of Dave's Lounge #50, which includes a speech I gave at a conference at Duke University three years ago. A few things have changed since then, but a lot of it still applies today, and it's kind of amazing how so few people, both musicians and podcasters, don't know about this. Perhaps I need to publish this info somewhere else on the web...
