STPI 006: Ryan “COWBOY” Ehmann – Thats What I’m Talking About!!

Shark Tank Podcast show

Summary: Ryan "COWBOY" Ehmann LOSE 12 INCHES WITH ANY 12 WORKOUTS Ryan "Cowboy" Ehmann has an amazing story.  I love this guy.  So much energy and passion its ridiculous. In addition to being a rodeo rider, his history is actually in tinkering and inventing.  He didn't mention on the show that he invented a traction device that paid for all of his schooling (while he was living it up and riding bucs)  From the moment he picked up the phone it was like I was on the one riding a bronco...I was just hanging on for the ride. "There is no such thing as an 'overnight' success" - Ryan "Cowboy" Ehmann Ryan got beat up a bit in the tank...and then out of nowhere (And I mean NOWHERE) Daymond gave him exactly what he asked for. (120k for 25%)  Daymond saw something in Ryan that he believed in, and this is the reason I wanted to have him on the show.  We all have the ability to find our "Cowboy" within and Ryan joined me on the Podcast to tell his story.  Hang On Tight! The Secret to Living...Is Giving! - Ryan "Cowboy" Ehmann   In this episode you will hear: That Ryan has one gear only, GO! Ryan sold a million dollars worth of product before coming on Shark Tank...what happened?? Being a rodeo rider isn't all it's cracked up to be...most end up riding the saddle style bar stool nursing injuries for a long time. Cowboy's dream was that some day those rodeo guys would be watching him on TV, and here we are.  (Can you visualize your own goals coming to fruition? Rodeo taught Cowboy that nobody was ever going to hand him anything...YOU HAVE TO FIGHT FOR IT. The disaster that occurred when Ryan was just about to release his first workout machine...and how he overcame the colossal disappointment.  (From a sales and ethics standpoint) More details regarding the products Ryan sells to help people get their own cowboy abs and change their life.  (What he calls "The Cowboy Way") What does Ryan think about Daymond? (Hint: He is a huge fan and he shares us some of the action items Daymond initiates to get things ramped up) Where we should expect to see "Cowboy" in the near future (If you work out at a gym, you may see him soon) The network of promoters and investors that root AGAINST the entrepreneurs getting a deal so that they can scoop them up. (The secondary SHARK market - crazy stuff) What is the traditional route to getting on TV if you are a workout Guru (as opposed to being on Shark Tank) One of the BIGGEST mistakes "Cowboy" made that you should not repeat (Hint: Duplicating yourself, and therefore your efforts) How this deal sort of mirrored what Daymond did with Billy Blanks Jr. Daymond told Cowboy that he knew he wouldn't have to worry about whether or not he would do the work (Can you say that about yourself?) The comment that made up Daymond's mind to do the deal (A clinching phrase that everyone should be using) Ryan did not know his episode was going to air until he read it in a TV guide less than 10 days before it the airdate! (Chris Matthews would have gotten a thrill up his leg for sure...Ryan did) Back Pain.  Ryan knows it, and knows how to fix it. Ryan's story of the 460 lb guy he helped who wants to get healthy so he can be there for his kids as they grow up.  He couldn't get a response from the major exercise gurus, but Cowboy has a different Modus Operandi.  Inspirational Stuff. Did Kevin really offer Cowboy a job to sell Mutual Funds? The reason Lori couldn't offer Cowboy a deal and the door she left open for him... Plus a whole lot more...   Useful Links From This Podcast: Lose 12 Inches Website - Check it out!
