They are both looking forward to the film but aren’t as excited as they’d like to be. The release of the new trailer for Amazing Spider-Man 2 was after the recording of the episode so Ryan makes some assumptions and fakes some reactions. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is finally here! What did Ryan and Leah think of the highly anticipated sequel? Leah has read the books, Ryan has not. Did that affect anyone’s enjoyment? Leah’s Cinematic Consultation for this episode is The Sapphires. The based on a true story film of a signing group of Australian Aboriginal women on a tour to entertain US troops in Vietnam. And finally, Frozen! Ryan and Leah discuss the newest Disney animated film. Everything from the songs, characters, voice actors and more is discussed at length. The conversation then turns to the current Disney Animation renaissance, where Frozen fits within it, and how this renaissance compares with the previous that began with The Little Mermaid and included Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King.
