Summary: Susie interviewed Eberhard Fuhr on October 22, 2009. He was born in Germany and came to America with his family when he was three years old. He has two brothers. When he was 17 and during WWII, the U.S. government took him and his family from the home they owned and put them in internment camps. His parents lost their home. Most Americans have no idea how difficult and heartbreaking it was for the German people during WWII, in Germany and the United States. They are the forgotten people. We hear about the Japanese and the Jews, but nothing about the hardships of the German people. This is the story of innocent German families and how they were treated in America. Tune in at 7pm EST.
