We looked at various PC's from Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo, Gateway, and specialty vendors such as Falcon Northwest, Alienware, etc, and we eventually settled on HP's line because they offer the most compatible hardware for FSX. Tests from Tom's Hardware universally show that nVidia GPU's run FSX better than ATI CPU's, nVidia GPU's are universally on the top 10 preforming cards before ATI shows up. [Link] and [Link] Tests from Tom's Hardware also show that the best card is an nVidia 9800 series card paired with a high speed Quad core CPU.
