MM 049: Meet Trenell

Summary: Mitzi takes Trenell to the Come On Inn to find out about her deep, dark secrets. And no, that's not racist. (First in a random series of "Meet the Co-Hosts.") The Drink du Jour: Singapore Sling 1 1/2 ounces gin 1 ounce lemon juice 1/4 ounce simple syrup 1 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar 2 ounces club soda 1/2 ounce cherry brandy, kirsch, or Cherry Heering Lemon slice for garnish Maraschino cherry for garnish Pour the gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and powdered sugar into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass with ice cubes. Pour in the club soda. Float the cherry brandy on top by pouring it over the back of a bar spoon.
