Summary: 1st hr In three weeks, the one-year anniversary of Benghazi will happen.  One year on, there are still no answers but there are now even more questions. What really happened in Benghazi?   What was that outpost really for since it was not a consulate?  Were there really four hundred American surface to air missiles taken from that compound and were they destined for Syria? The conventional wisdom is that it is never the actual scandal that brings down a politician but the cover-up.   It is the cover-up in Benghazi that has never made sense, unless there is something really damaging involved. 2nd hr- Voter Supression In North Carolina-  the North Carolina legislature passed the country’s worst voter suppression law after only three days of debate. Rick Hasen of Election Law Blog called it “the most sweeping anti-voter law in at least decades” The bill mandates strict voter ID to cast a ballot (no student IDs, no public employee IDs, etc.), even though 318,000 registered voters lack the narrow forms of acceptable ID according to the state’s own numbers and there have been no recorded prosecutions of voter impersonation in the past decade. The bill cuts the number of early voting days by a week, even though 56 percent of North Carolinians voted early in 2012.  Join The Conversation @ 424-222-5255
