Center Line Soccer Radio: Episode 20

Backheel Master Podcast Feed show

Summary: More home cooking for San Jose this week, as a lone Chris Wondolowski goal — from an offside position, or maybe not — earned the Earthquakes their fifth straight MLS victory in the Bay Area. The 1-0 clean sheet victory over Sporting Kansas City also marked the 100th career win for goalkeeper Jon Busch, and he was feted with the game ball after the match in a raucous locker room celebration. Onward and upward toward the postseason for the Quakes? Let the CLS Radio trio of Robert Jonas, Joe Nuxoll, and Lyndsay Radnedge share their thoughts on the roundtable, episode 20. In addition, a three game road trip — two MLS matches and one CCL group stage game — will provide a stern test of the team’s playoff bona fides. And finally, the roundtable revisits the ongoing sanctions that the Earthquakes front office imposed on the 1906 Ultras. This story is far from over, but maybe a solution can be expedited if both sides can once again learn to trust each other. Want to give your take on the show?
