Radio Dale 31 - Awesome Ways to Promote Your Next Release

Radio Dale: Music, Musicians and the Canadian Music Industry show

Summary: Have you ever released a single, EP or album online and wondered by downloads and listens never broke double digits? Or maybe you pumped money into some publicity and marketing services and didn't feel the sales were worth the cost? Being creative in promoting your music is as important today as being creative in creating it, so Radio Dale has collected our eleven favourite ways both major label and indie artists have broken the mould in spreading the word about their latest project. We don't suggest you copy and paste these ideas...but we hope you're inspired to think creatively about how you can promote, package and promote your next release! Radio Dale is the podcast about music, musicians and the Canadian music industry from our unique perspective at the Dale Speaking offices. We help bring indie and established acts to radio, and spread the word online, as well as develop their careers in today's ever-changing music business. This podcast gives away some of our best information for free, and serves as the 'radio show' the broadcast the ideas, observations and insights we discover every day working with Canadian and International artists.
