Interpreting the Scripture: Greek vs. Hebrew

Hebrew Nation Online show

Summary: So you read the Scripture? Great! But how are you reading it? What kind of glasses are you wearing? We all know that language carries philosophical thought. Words are important, and when you change the definitions of words, you change everything about the conversation! Therefore, those who are interested in interpreting the Scripture correctly ought to go to the original language (Hebrew!) and its inherent thought pattern. Our guest, Skip Moen, is the Dean of the Department of Biblical Leadership at Master’s International Divinity School and frequently travels around the world for speaking and teaching. In today's show, he encourages the listeners to "Study to show thyself approved" (1 Tim 2:15) , take off the doctrinal glasses that we have all worn for quite some time, and read the Scriptures as they were meant to be read.
