Double Portion Inheritance: The Sacred Name & Character of YaHuWaH (07/04/2013)

Hebrew Nation Online show

Summary: In this episode Maria brings balance among various camps of people who have differing opinions about our Creator’s name. There is the camp that says that our Creator’s name is “not that important” and they make fun of those of us who call our Messiah by his true name, Yahuwshuwa (Joshua) which means “YaHuWaH is salvation.” There are also those who would say that the pronunciation of our Creator’s name “does not matter,” because it is his character that we are proclaiming, rather than his literal name. Then there is the other camp of people who say that nobody can be saved when calling upon the name of “Jesus” or “Yeshua.” They say that unless you are pronouncing the name of our Messiah exactly the right way, you cannot be saved. Maria refers to these people as “Pronunciation Nazi’s” because they presume to play “judge, jury and executioner.” Maria disagrees with this camp of people as well, because Romans 8:26 says that the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) make intercession on our behalf with “groanings that cannot be uttered.” We are told that the Ruwach (Spirit) searches our hearts and he knows what people are trying to say, when they do not know any better. But once the true name of our Creator has been revealed to us, we must follow through with obedience by using his true name, whether it is popular with the majority or not. Maria exposes the religious pride within these various extreme camps of people as she seeks to find balance on both sides. On the one hand, we should not diminish the importance of pronouncing YaHuWaH’s name correctly. But on the other hand, we must have patience with those who do not have a revelation of how to say his name yet. Some may say “but it is not a salvation issue,” so why debate about his name? But scripture reveals that there is only one name under heaven whereby we must be saved: Ma’aseh Shlichiym (Acts) 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. The name of our Creator is what separates the wise from the foolish virgins: Shir ha’Shariym (Song of Solomon) 1:3 Because of the savor of your good ointments your name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love you. If our Creator’s name is like “oil,” and the virgins love him because of his NAME, then we should be able to make the connection now about who the “five wise virgins” are! In Matthew 25, the five wise virgins have “oil” in their lamps, which is a symbol of his name! In Revelation 3:8, the Assembly of Philadelphia has an open door because they have “not denied his name!” And finally, there are those who would say: “Nobody knows how to pronounce our Creator’s name.” But we know that this cannot be true, for YaHuWaH revealed his name to Mosheh in Exodus 6:4, and he also promises to make his name known to his elect: Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 36:23 And I will sanctify MY GREAT NAME, which was profaned among the heathen, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am YHWH, says YHWH Elohiym, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 39:7 So will I make my qodesh (holy) name known in the midst of my people Yisra’el; and I will not let them pollute my qodesh (holy) name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am YHWH, the Qodesh (Holy) One in Yisra’el.
