Summary: Nicole Kupchik, an internationally known Clinical Nurse Specialist from Seattle will join Firemedically Speaking host Mike McEvoy to discuss therapeutic hypothermia. Nicole was instrumental in development and research on therapeutic hypothermia for cardiac arrest survivors at Harborview Medical Center and is considered an expert on resuscitation outcomes and sepsis. She currently works at Swedish Medical Center and as a consultant and educator.
