Summary: Kae Sun or Kwaku Darko-Mensah Jr. is a Ghanaian-Canadian singer-songwriter. Kae Sun's music has hints of soul, folk and hip-hop creating a sound that is sometimes described as urban folk. Kae Sun's debut album Lion On A Leash came out in 2009.The mostly self produced Lion on a Leash is a collection of heartfelt, well written songs that successfully combine elements of hip-hop, roots reggae and soul. He also adds elements of afro-funk, influenced by his Ghanaian upbringing.Kae Sun turned to his native Ghana for inspiration for his EP Outside the Barcode which came out in 2011.
