She leads NIC’s Women Offender team initiative focusing on development and support of gender-responsive policy, procedure and practice within criminal justice. Alfreda Robinson learned advocacy while serving a 10 year Federal sentence. She founded the National Women’s Prison Project in 2002. She was voted Baltimore’s Best Advocate in 2005.
