The cuts came after federal timber dollars dried up in the region. <a href="http://www.lanecounty.org/Departments/CAO/Operations/CountyClerk/elections/Pages/May21,2013SpecialElection.aspx" target="_blank"><strong>Lane County</strong></a> is also floating a levy for voters to consider. You'll hear the details of the public safety levies in the May 21st election. </p>
