Opinions? Josh from Dallas: Reed, I was considering a stainless 24\" .17hmr upper as a far future purchase, but I'm concerned about what you said about .17 hmr and semi-auto platforms. I could do without the AR, but was seriously considering trying to get Kel-Tec to make, or send me a .17hmr conversion kit (barrel, spring?) for a PMR 30. I think this would be a super cool pistol. The .22 mag is semi-appealing, but the hot little .17 would be really cool if it functioned on the same platform. What issues have you heard of concerning the .17 and semi-autos? Don't crush my dreams man. I really wanted that pistol design to work.
