Summary: I think the number one roadblock to evangelism is fear. We are afraid of what other people might think. And we're afraid of persecution. But, our fears shouldn't keep us from sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Take Paul for example: The apostle Paul knew all about persecution. He was chased from town to town. He was thrown in jail. He was whipped, stoned, beaten up and left for dead. On the surface, this does not look like a promising career in evangelism! But in Acts 18:9 the Lord told Paul not to be afraid and to keep on speaking the truth. God told Paul He would protect him from harm. And Paul trusted that God would keep His promise. So, Paul obeyed and continued speaking. As a result, the Gospel spread throughout the country. Don't be afraid to share your faith. Instead, let us continue speaking the truth in love.
