Summary: <p>The Jefferson Exchange: April 26, 2013, Hour 1:</p><p><b> <span class="headlinetext">Jackson County Expo in Trouble</span> </b><br><br> The parade of potential budget-cut victims continues: Jackson County's budget committee is discussing cuts to entire programs in the coming fiscal year, including the possibility of removing all county support for the <a href="http://www.co.jackson.or.us/SectionIndex.asp?SectionID=12" target="_blank"><strong>Expo Park</strong></a> in Central Point, possibly spelling the end of the annual Jackson County Fair itself.  Expo Director Dave Koellermeier joins us to talk about possible futures that do not include any county funding.</p><p>+</p><p><b> <span class="headlinetext">End of the Lumber Line</span> </b><br><br> The only game in town is closing.  <a href="http://www.rrlumber.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Rough and Ready Lumber</strong></a> was the last sawmill turning out dimension lumber in Jackson and Josephine Counties (veneer and plywood mills are still open), and its owners just announced the closing of the mill.  The move turns 85 workers out at the mill near Cave Junction.  Rough and Ready co-owner Jennifer Phillippi joins us to talk about the factors leading to the decision. </p>
