Summary: All the way from South Africa, this is The Parlotones. Two of them at least (Kahn and Paul). If you haven't heard of them, that's a shame. These guys are international stars and easily one of the preeminent rock groups in their native Johannesburg. In the States, not so much. But that's changing. Their music is clean, refined pop with a sort of effortless catch, easy to listen to without going saccharin. Check out "I'm Only Human," you might already know it. This is a new one called "Heartbreak Horizon," unplugged at The Ballroom. Thanks to The Parlotones and The Mansion at Judges Hill for letting us use the Ballroom. Those folks are righteous.
