Summary: On Monday, Rep. Ron Paul came to Columbia, South Carolina to support SC state Senator Tom Davis in his bid for reelection. If you recall, Davis endorsed Dr. Paul back in January before the primary there, and the Congressman appeared at the event venue at 701 Whaley to return the favor. The fundraiser was appropriately emceed by Jack Hunter, "the Southern Avenger," as the crowd of contributing donors at the rally numbered around 200 (my estimate).
