The BBQ Central Radio Show show

Summary: A jammed packed show tonight. I was joined by Bob Beeman of Gold Bar-B-Q. We talked about his success at the Oregon State Fair, how much he pocketed during the competition ($6,500) and how he has quickened his learning curve regarding bbq competitions. In the third segment, pit master Rod Gray, of the Pellet Envy cooking team joined me to talk about his latest victory at the "Smoke on the water" competition in Arkansas. This was his second win in a row at this event! We also talked a bit about if technology is taking away from the "art" of bbq and Rod also talked about his sponsor Greased Lightning. You can find out more about Rod at www.pelletenvy.com and Greased Lightning at www.greased-lightning.com The fourth segment free for all found me hooking back up with Fred Bernardo of Fred's Music and BBQ. We talked about the the new WSM, what the dimensions are, what the price might be and when he might get them in stock. We also talked a bit about the products offered by Steven Raichlen and if they are worth buying. Check Fred out on the web at www.fredsmusicandbbq.com www.swampsauce.com
