Summary: Tonight I had on Kell Phelps of the National BBQ Festival. This event houses the Best of The Best BBQ cook-off this coming weekend in Douglas, GA. Kell explained how the even got started, how the event runs, what there is to do at the festival besides the bbq stuff and why there event differs from The Jack Daniels and other big bbq events. His name is Kelly Wertz from 4 Legs Up BBQ. I learned how he got in to the whole competition BBQ scene, how he got invited to the Jack and what his thoughts of winning the whole thing were! As of now, Kelly does not have a website to visit. In the fourth segment, I was joined by Danielle Dimovski from the BBQ Team Diva Q. Danielle competed at the Jack the weekend prior and finished 40th out of 79 teams which was a great finish. She and her team are now heading to Douglas, GA to compete in the Best of The Best competition this coming weekend. She talked about her experience at the Jack and what she expects from the Best of The Best this coming weekend.
