Summary: Jon Lovett serves as a writer, co-creator and executive producer of NBC’s family comedy “1600 Penn.” Prior to helping to create “1600 Penn,” Lovett spent three years as a speechwriter for President Barack Obama.  During his tenure at the White House, Lovett drafted speeches on a complete range of public policy issues.  He also helped craft the jokes and materials used by the president at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, where the president pokes fun at Washington, the press, and himself. 1600 Penn airs Thursdays 9:30 -10pm (Eastern) on NBC.
