She is overreacting simply because she died after the last earthquake. * There’s a seen with Forrest and Riley, Riley is trying to figure Buffy out, Forrest is a douche. Next scene. * Percy makes a random appearance at the party and calls Willow a nerd. She hasn’t been a nerd for a very long time. * Willow decides to be a squatter and lay down in a total strangers bed in the middle of a party and ends up in bed with a big dead body with a symbol carved in its chest. * The symbol on the corpses chest is a sign of an impending apocalypse… again! * I told you! Giles, I said, “end of the world,” and you’re all like pooh pooh, southern California, pooh pooh. * Three demons need three parts of a ritual to open the hellmouth. * The blood is one, bones make two and after a nice kicking of Giles butt, his talisman makes three. * Meanwhile Buffy and Riley keep bumping into each other. Riley keeps trying to reconcile with Buffy and make things work between them. Now that Buffy realizes that Riley is closer to her world of death and mayhem than she thought; she has decided to just walk away. She has done this before and it always end badly. * Besides, she has an apocalypse to deal with. * The scoobies and a very depressed Spike head to the Hellmouth to try and stop the ritual. * Hijinks Ensue and in the melee Spike finds out that he can fight demons. * The bad guys get dangerously close to opening the hellmouth. Buffy tells the scoobies and Spike to get out while the gettin’s good. * Riley shows up to help in the fight and when Buffy goes diving after the hellmouth, Riley snaps a clothesline to her belt to haul her back up. * The scoobies find out about Riley’s secret identity. * Buffy realizes that even though life is dangerous and sometimes people get hurt, that doesn’t mean she can’t have sex with Riley. * End Episode. * Missy’s Fun Facts from Down Under * "Doomed" is the first episode that we get to see what exactly happened to Sunnydale High from the explosion in Graduation Day (2). * Spike calls Xander a "poof" in this episode. Roughly translated, he's calling Xander gay, which would be appropriate seeing as Joss was uncertain of whether Xander or Willow would turn out to be gay. Up until now, there are numerous instances to support either one. * When Riley questions Spike, Spike fakes a bad Texan accent to avoid recognition. This is ironic, since when James Marsters(Spike) was originally auditioning, he gave Spike's character a Texan accent. The idea was rejected, and Spike ended up with his current accent.
