Summary: … EdCeptional highlights access to learning for exceptional students of all abilities … Our first show kicked off with an interesting discussion on the “miracle” device, iPad 2. We transitioned into a talk about QR codes which stand for Quick Response codes. These stories led us into a nice talk about Chris Vacek’s work including #Spedchat and some blog posts of his including a post on Symbaloo! Next up was our agreement on the immediate read of Richard Byrnes blog “Free Tech 4 Teachers” and his post on Free clip art. Our radar section brought up the discussion on CAST UDL as Scott learned a lot from the team. We turned briefly to Aimee Mullins and her TED talk that talked about how disabilities can become enhancements in some ways as well.
