Summary: The past week of the campaign has seen four more primary contests come and go, with surprisingly little media coverage of the man who who perhaps had the best week of all (besides the happy authoritarian, Rick Sanitorium). The press is starting to catch onto the fact that Dr. Ron Paul is most definitely in this race for the long-haul, and his organization has been focusing on a little thing we like to call delegates. We can all be frustrated by the non-binding nature of many of these early primary and caucus states, but we didn't make the rules! Dr. Paul can do significantly better in terms of delegates than even his opponents who may have bested him in some of the straw-votes! Unsurprisingly, the MSM has hardly mentioned the latest polling data that shows Ron Paul running second nationwide, behind only Mittens Romney. Dr. Paul has regularly polled well against Obama, himself- but his 21% among GOP contenders is particularly promising. For now, we await for the results of the Maine caucus, that will end up a close finish on Saturday between Rep. Paul and Gov. Romney.
